ViR VM-21 Vibration Parameter Indicator

The ViR VM-21 vibration parameter indicator is designed for determination of vibration parameters of non-rotating equipment parts (units, machines, and mechanisms).

The ViR VM-21 Provides

Continuous determination of vibration parameters of non-rotating equipment parts according to the following parameters:

• Damp µm – vibration displacement, amplitude value;

• Dp-p µm – vibration displacement, peak-to-peak value;

• Drms µm – vibration displacement, RMS value;

• Vamp mm/s – vibration velocity, amplitude value;

• Vp-p mm/s – vibration velocity, peak-to-peak value;

• Vrms mm/s – vibration velocity, RMS value;

• Aamp m/s² – vibration acceleration, amplitude value;

• Ap-p m/s² – vibration acceleration, peak-to-peak value;

• Arms m/s² – vibration acceleration, RMS value.

Determination of Harmonic Components

• ¼, ½, 1 (component with the highest level), 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.

Additional Functions

• transmission of measured vibration parameter values via the USB serial interface to external recording and visualization devices;

• illumination of the measurement area (built-in flashlight);

• convenient operation (touch-sensitive buttons) and flexible calibration system using a PC application.

The ViR VM-21 Consists of

• a contact single-channel primary measuring transducer of the PP-VS21M type with magnetic mounting;

• a VM-21 measuring converter.
