A vibrating wire strain gauge is designed for assessment of the stress–strain state during monitoring of steel and concrete structures, reinforced concrete building structures, as well as civil engineering and hydraulic structures.
The EDS-12V is used for stress measurement in reinforced concrete structures such as piles, diaphragm walls, bridge abutments, tunnel linings, dams, foundations, etc. It consists of a thick-walled tube with an axially mounted vibrating wire strain gauge. Reinforcing bars with a diameter of 12 mm are integrated on both sides of the tube.
A version with 16 mm reinforcing bars is also available.
