Product description

The HSRS-600 horizontal shock test stand is designed for high-precision shock testing of electronics, structures, assemblies, and components, particularly in the aerospace, defense, and automotive industries. Special attention is given to simulating complex shock loads through Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) analysis.

Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) enables the simulation of complex shock events typical of real operational conditions, such as explosions, drops, sudden stops, and transportation-related loads. Unlike conventional single-shock or acceleration tests, SRS shows how a system responds across different frequency ranges and helps identify resonance zones where a structure is most vulnerable.

Different structural components may have their own natural resonance frequencies. If shock energy falls within a resonance zone, the product may fail. SRS makes it possible to determine the frequencies at which critical loading occurs and to reinforce the design accordingly. Many standards (e.g., MIL-STD-810, NASA GEVS) require SRS-based testing. Without it, certification for defense, aerospace, or space applications is not possible.

SRS is a key tool for comprehensive analysis of shock effects on complex systems. If equipment is intended to operate under vibration, explosions, drops, or severe transportation loads, SRS testing is essential.
