A vibrating wire strain gauge is designed for assessment of the stress–strain state during monitoring of steel and concrete structures, reinforced concrete building structures, as well as civil engineering and hydraulic structures.
The EDS-11V is a highly reliable and robust vibrating wire strain gauge suitable for embedment in concrete or for welding installation on steel structures. The sensor is hermetically sealed using electron-beam welding under a vacuum of 1/1000 Torr, which eliminates the possibility of corrosion and prevents ingress of moisture and water.
Optional accessories include a mounting frame for forming a three-dimensional measurement rosette, a compensation container, a compensation strain gauge, and an extension rod.
