FP-VS.S Vibration Measuring Converter
Product description
FP-VS.S Vibration Measuring Converter
The FP-VS.S Vibration Parameter Measuring Converter (VPMC) is designed for conversion of analog signals (vibration velocity, vibration displacement, or vibration acceleration) and monitoring of vibration parameters (RMS vibration velocity, vibration displacement peak-to-peak value, and vibration acceleration amplitude) of rotating and non-rotating equipment parts (units, machines, and mechanisms).
The FP-VS.S Vibration Parameter Measuring Converter is used both as a standalone module for digital signal processing of primary transducer signals (accelerometer, proximity probe, or velocity sensor) with output of measured information in analog and digital form, and as part of the “PULS 1.02” monitoring and measuring system, process control automation systems (PCS/SCADA), or other automated systems.
The FP-VS.S Vibration Monitoring Module provides:
-
monitoring and alarm signaling for exceeding emergency threshold levels (3 levels) of vibration parameters (RMS vibration velocity, vibration acceleration amplitude, or vibration displacement peak-to-peak value), vibration jump detection, and exceeding low-frequency (LF) vibration levels;
-
transmission of measured vibration parameter values, as well as amplitudes and phases of harmonic components, via the RS-485 serial interface to external recording and visualization devices;
-
transmission of information on emergency events via the RS-485 serial interface to external recording and visualization devices;
-
generation of discrete output signals for vibration jump events, exceeding LF vibration levels, and reaching emergency threshold levels of vibration parameters for external alarm systems;
-
generation of a standardized 4–20 mA DC analog output signal proportional to the vibration parameter (RMS vibration velocity, vibration acceleration amplitude, or vibration displacement peak-to-peak value).
